Caribbean Peace Day Radio Appeal

Caribbean Music and Radio to Promote Message of PEACE!

On Monday, September 21st 2009, radio stations around  the Caribbean region were asked to participate in a non-partisan, non-aligned, non-profit peace effort through a simple and inexpensive gesture. In a simple show of solidarity they were being asked to be a part of spreading a powerful message.

At 12 noon on Peace Day, all radio stations throughout the Caribbean were asked to play the same original song advocating peace.

This gesture is the first step in a yearlong series of events and initiatives, which will culminate in the launch of the Caribbean Peace Trust Fund!

Caribbean Radio Appeal 2009 Participants

We'd like to recognise those Radio Stations which came onboard and answered the challenge to spread the call for peace!
